Impressed in to the handle is "The J. Barton Smith Company Warranted"
There is slight bend in the metal shaft itself and there is a crack in the handle
The Screw Driver is Approx. 6 1/2 inches long overall with the metal shaft being Approx. 2 1/2 inches Long
The J. Barton Smith Co. was a tool company that operated from 1842 to 1890 in Philadelphia. They had been bought by Nicholson File and they continued to produce files with the J. Barton Smith name up through 1900.
