1967 Dunhill Shell Briar R F/T Group 4 estate smoking pipe

Description

1967 Dunhill Pot shape: R, group: 4, F/T Shell Briar! Seemingly very well treated and cared for! Only a small ding on the rim, see in pics. No stain touch up or real work needed for this guy. Well preserved and deep textures!  Stamping is a tad faded in areas but still pretty clear! Snug, non filter, rubber stem still has nice FT shape and button! The last two pics are from before work done.
Measurements: 5 1/4" long, 1 5/8" tall, 1 1/2" wide, 7/8" bowl opening, and 1 3/8" bowl depth. Weight: 1.32oz or 37.4g
Basic recondition included de-oxidized and wet sanded stem, lightly scrubbed stummel. Brushed char off rim, did not need to be topped. Draft hole barely redrilled to 9/64". Bowl lightly reamed out to leave just a smidge of cake for fast break in, rubbed out and sealed with Halcyon and Paragon wax on stem for preservation and easier maintenance. This pipe will be thoroughly clean and safe for your enjoyment. That said, I would recommend a run through with a damp pipe cleaner before use.
