26 Snapshots Post Expo 86 Vancouver BC Canada Photos Circa 1989 Omnimax Geodesic

(Scroll down below the auction text to see the 19 scans I've included in this listing - click on each one to see a close-up view) This auction is for 26 different snapshots of the remnants of Expo '86 in Vancouver as seen around 1989. I found these in a photo album that had photos from 1989, so I think they were taken around 1989. Each photo measures 3-1/2" x 5" and was processed on Kodak Royal Paper. They look like they are closer to matte than glossy. These are nice photos showing what was left a few years after Expo '86 ended. Some of the photos show: overviews of the waterfront location, a directional sign showing how to get to: (West Promenade - CN IMAX - The Prow Restaurant - Food Fair - Retail Shops - CHPC Offices), Nieuw Amsterdam ship next to grounds, Prow Restaurant, a 2 story brown building behind a fence (doesn't appear to be used anymore), Plaza of Nations (one photo shows the Expo '86 flag), The Unicorn (pub), Discovery B.C. theater, the geodesic dome Omnimax theatre and Science World, a robot/skeleton human (that was probably in Science World). (The auction is just for the snapshots and the album is not included.) The photos are in good condition. SOME NICE SNAPSHOTS DOCUMENTING POST EXPO '86 GROUNDS! First class postage is .25. Most were taken by one man who attended most every World's Fair and expositions between those years. Snapshots of expos in the U.S., Canada, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Australia, etc. A few years ago I purchased an enormous collection of World's Fair items from just about every World's Fair and Exposition from San Diego 1915 through Japan 2005. It seems like the man visited just about every fair and expo from 1964 through 2005 all over the world - Canada, Japan, Portugal, Spain, South Korea, Australia, the U.S. and other countries. I'm still going through the 40+ containers which contain souvenirs, photos, slides (He took lots of photographs and slides of these expositions), books, publications, etc.
