Alice Caviness Gold Over Sterling Silver Marcasite Butterfly Brooch & Bracelet

Description

Very good vintage condition.  Brooch is in excellent, near mint condition.  Bracelet is in very good vintage condition with some wear of gold finish around some edges and light patina.  Both pieces are accented by asymmetrical marcasites set in alternating even and odd patters.  Brooch is a figural butterfly; bracelet is comprised of linked panels with floral motifs.
Both pieces are signed ALICE CAVINESS and STERLING GERMANY.
Extremely fine quality, including the intricate silver work, perfect use of dainty marcasites, two-tone gilt and gray finishes, button clasp with addition secured closure, and organic design.
Bracelet measures 7.25 inches long.  For size guidance, size of wrist in photos is 6.5 inches.
