Description
Do you have a broken KitchenAid Pasta Cutter attachment? Did a foreign object accidentally jam up and break your pasta cutter? The pasta cutter attachments are equipped with a shear shaft/coupler (similar to a snow blower) and plastic drive gears that breaks, preventing damage to the KitchenAid mixer and other components in the pasta cutter attachment. However, KitchenAid does not provide replacement parts and the solution is to replace the entire attachment!Introducing, the Hex Shear Shaft and Drive Gear replacement set for the KitchenAid Pasta Cutter Attachment KPEX & KPRA. This kit comprises of a new hex shear shaft assembly, a pair of drive gears and a complete installation instructions to repair your KitchenAid pasta cutter attachment. The brass hex shear shaft is CNC machined to tight tolerances to ensure it fails when overloaded and not during normal operation. All parts are inspected and tested before leaving our factory to ensure the highest standard of quality.
The installation is very simple and the only tools required are: 1) a Phillips head screw driver (PH1), 2) a pair of pliers, 3) a flat head screwdriver and 4) a small hammer (2OZ). Replacing the hex shear shaft and drive gears take as little as 10 minutes!
