Description
5/8" diameter, 10ft anodized aluminum polespear with modular butt piece that can be assembled as a 5ft, 7ft, 8ft, or 10ft polespear, depending how you choose to arrange the sections. Each section is anodized blue with the Neritic Diving logo laser etched above the machined-in grooved grip. As originally added-on, it includes a black front grip and black mid section grip that gives an even greater grip than the machined in grooves. The heat shrink tubing has cross grip and is laid over dynema rope in spirals allowing even easier and secure grip.
History
I purchased this Blue Bantam package with extra items 2 years ago. I used it on
ONE
dive day. I filed down one of the injector rods to use for lion fish. I cleaned and lightly oiled all threads. The rubber grips have a
FEW
very minor nicks that are not deep and do not go down to the aluminum. There are some very minor nicks in the aluminum sections from the reef, none of which affect performance and could be painted over for protection. They are all shown in the included photos. For some reason one of the laser etched “Neritic” logos is corroded, yet the other two are not. I used them all in saltwater for one dive day. All parts are from the original sale. Maybe it wasn’t covered with protective film during manufacturing or something. I used one of the slip tips on a barracuda, and it still looks new. The other is 100% unused. One of the bands shows very slight, initial dry rotting, but probably has 95% life remaining. The other band is 100% unused. Both slip tips and bands will be properly packaged, along with the rest of the pole spear to ensure a safe delivery. All polespear sections are straight and the pole spear shoots straight. I’m selling because I simply don’t use it.
