Description
You are looking at a New Paderno Cavatelli Gnocchi Pasta Maker with easy clean rollers that I modified to work on the KitchenAid Stand Mixer. This will work on EVERY KitchenAid Stand mixer made since 1937
, and any appliance with a #10 Hobart tapered attachment hub, including the Hobart N50 mixer.
Please verify your mixer has a #10 hub before ordering
.
The machine you see in the photos is the one you will receive. It is ready to make fresh cavatelli and gnocchi in your kitchen. Included is the box, a recipe booklet, and a 90-day warranty. The mixer is not included.
These are modified to a high standard. I've been doing it for over three years, and I have gotten really good response and feedback. I made this by marrying a NEW cavatelli maker with a KitchenAid mount, and it's more involved than one might think. Many of these have found homes in restaurant kitchens where they get really hard use. A chef/owner of an Italian restaurant in White Plains, New York, bought one in November 2018, and then contacted me in six-months later to say his "cavatelli machine is still going strong" and he wanted to buy another one. I think that's a testament to their durability.
Let the photos be your guide. The photos are of the actual Cavatelli Maker you will receive.
The mixer is not included.

Addendum:
In this video I demonstrate a new Cucina Pro Cavatelli maker in action on the KitchenAid mixer.
https://youtu.be/dWadc2RJrkU
I have modified newly made Cucina Pro, Paderno, and Fante's cavatelli makers to work on KitchenAid Stand mixers, and it's interesting that the castings are absolutely identical. There is absolutely no difference internally or externally. I have not bought a King Cole 5300 cavatelli maker, but after studying photos of them, I believe they are made using the same castings as well. No matter what the box says, they are all made in the same factory in Taiwan.
I'm not an expert on pasta although I once cooked professionally in another life. The shape of the cavatelli you produce will be affected by the thickness, width, moisture content, and hardness or softness of the dough strip being fed into the maker.
Happy Pasta Making!
