Silver Designs by Gitte is an outstanding artisan I found on Etsy, and her items are very unique.
These earrings have vibrant colored Chrysocolla stones set into fine silver bezels as little birds fly above them on sterling silver back plates. The earrings hang from leverback wires.
The vibrant green color of the Chrysocollas also shows bits of red, blue and black. The half ovals measure 15 x 18 x 4 mm and the complete length of the setting is 26 mm without the ear wires.
Just as beautiful is the pendant which features a lovely Parrot Wing Chrysocolla with the typical parrot green color. The Chrysocolla is cut in an unusually pretty shape. The stone is about 32.5 x 16 x 5.5 mm.
The bezel is made from fine silver and the back plate is cut from sterling silver. Four little birds flutter around the Chrysocolla.
On the backside of the pendant, a cutout bird shows more of the beautiful parrot wing color.
A little bail on the back of the pendant holds an 18" long sterling silver foxtail chain.
