Description
You are bidding on a 5 Gallon Quaker High Test Anti-freeze Can from the Ohio Corrugating Company in as-found condition. The label says " Pennsylvania Alcohol and Chemical Commission" and there's a stamp on the bottom that says - 24 5 45 - which is a military date that would put it between VE Day, and VJ Day in WW2 - but who knows. The dark rings around the upper and lower "lip" are mostly dirt, but there is some corrosion as well. The graphics are fair to good condition, but the subject matter is very good. The wooden spool handle is intact, as is - what I believe to be - the original seal/cap. There's an aluminum tag attached (military??) that also looks original. Good Luck!
