Rare Hesson Jr (BBB/WDC?) Patented 1925 Shape 125 Pipe With Red Dot Logo Stem
These are extremely scarce! Hesson had an affiliation with both WDC and also BBB. I am not sure with whom this was made for or with. To me it looks like a WDC, but the red dot logo instead of the bluish green logo makes me wonder... I have cleaned it up and given it a polish. It has one of those period contrast dark stains that I am just crazy about. As with all of my pipes, this is original to the pipe and has not been refinished. Some light inner bowl rim wear and very light carbon residue on the bowl rim. The red dot logo stem shows only trace chatter and still retains it's Hesson metal filter. A true find and simply one of the best examples I've seen.
