Savinelli Champagne Oom Paul 604EX estate briar smoking pipe

Description

Savinelli Champagne Oom Paul or Hungarian model/shape: 604EX! 6mm filter capable snug rubber stem, w/brass ring but no logo. There was some chatter on the stem I had to fill and re bend to original angle. The stamping is fading and not pronounced, there are a few small light fills, and some darkening on areas the bowl. That said you could fill this guy up with two inches of your favorite 'bacc' and read a novel! I went darker on the coffee brown stain to blend in the bowl darkening spots and bring out the stampings a bit better. I added some fade to give it back it's classic aged look! This is a solid sitter with a generous appetite! The last two pics are from before work done.
Measurements: 6" long heel to button, 2 1/4" tall bowl, 4 1/2" tall w/stem, 1 3/8" wide, 3/4" bowl opening, and 2" bowl depth. Weight: 2oz or 56.7g.
Recondition included de-oxidized, sanded, re bent and filled deep chatter on stem. Lightly sanded down to smooth out and restained, then buffed out with Trip and WD. Draft hole barely reamed to 9/64", Rim topped and added back inner rim bevel. Bowl reamed out to leave just a smidge of cake for fast break in, rubbed out and sealed with Paragon wax for preservation and easier maintenance. This pipe will be thoroughly clean and safe for your enjoyment. That said, I would recommend a run through with a damp pipe cleaner before use.
