Another great find from that barn in Northern Maine.  Early Socony Gear Compound Grease Can.  This is a 5 lb. can from the Standard Oil Co. of New York.  Measures 5 1/4" square x 6 3/4" high.  As shown this has a factory bail handle.  We have not opened this can, but it feels full.  Great item for your vintage oil can collection.
