Offering a unique freehand design of pipe by STANWELL, a
Royal Danish
, from Denmark. Royal Danish is a sub-brand made by Stanwell, as you can see from the catalog page I’ve included for reference. This branding is known typically to include smooth panel(s) on the sides, as this one has, as well as some defined grain patterns from the sandblast. The Royal Danish pipes typically have the same shape numbers as the Stanwell pipes, just with a 9 added as a prefix. The pipe is a shape 901:

The bowl is in great shape, I don’t really see any noted wear, and it has no issues. It’s well-seasoned inside, and it draws easy. The stem is well-cut and in great shape, has no tooth marks. It’s original, with large “Crown” logo still showing on the top. It weighs in at about 1.8 ounces. Expertly reconditioned, polished and ready to smoke!
