This product was made by the

back in the
1950s
and early
1960s!
This is a rare One Quart metal (tin) can measuring about 6⅞” tall (7¼” to top of cap) x 4½” wide x 2¼” deep. The tin has nice bright color lithography in burgundy red and white with classic advertising graphics and directions for use printed on its back. The can was made by the
National Can Corp
. As shown in the photos, the tin is in very good condition for its age with some surface wear and light soiling. There are some light scuffs or scratches, small marks, small paint stains, and very few light dents or dings typical for a container this old. The top of the can is in nice shape with some surface soiling and oxidation, and the bottom is still mostly nice and shiny. The can has its original metal screw cap in place as shown. The can is empty but may have a little residual liquid inside. This rare vintage “Douglas” Paint Thinner advertising tin can would make a great addition to your collection!
Take a look at the photos to best judge its condition. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the tin can, pictures or shipping before bidding. Please pay within 3 days of auction end, and I’ll ship the tin can ASAP, usually within 2 days of payment received.

Thank you for your business! Every item I sell is guaranteed to be as described, and I do everything possible to provide 5 STAR service. If you are satisfied, please leave 5 Star positive feedback. If you are not fully pleased, let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the transaction before leaving any feedback. Almost all items are vintage: they were purchased at estate sales/auctions, yard/garage sales or flea markets, and are sold “as found”; the history of previous ownership and storage conditions of the items is unknown, and I have no idea if a previous owner smoked or had pets. I do not accept returned items simply because you’ve changed your mind. Shipping & Handling charges are not refundable. Attention International Customers: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s Customs Office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” since US and international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
